Abu Dhabi honours martyrs with daily flag salute at Wahat Al Karama

ABU DHABI – The Fallen Heroes’ Affairs Office has introduced a daily Salute the Flag ceremony at Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi, paying tribute to the UAE’s martyrs.
The initiative reflects national loyalty and appreciation for those who have served the country.
Held just before sunset, the ceremony takes place at the Memorial and the Pavilion of Honour, where a Guard of Honour delivers a formal tribute in a setting dedicated to remembrance.

The ceremony is conducted daily in the moments leading up to sunset, creating a consistent ritual of reflection and respect. At the heart of the programme is a Guard of Honour who performs a formal salute, reinforcing the symbolic importance of the occasion.
